Angela and I are high school sweethearts. We married in 1991 while I was in bible school. I graduated the next year from Shasta Bible College and began working at our home church as a part-time youth intern. This turned into a full-time job and over 15 years of ministry. I served as Jr. High, Sr. High and College pastor. I also served as Missions Pastor and Pastor of outreach and evangelism.  We have four kids, Kindell, Kaden, Kurtis and Katie.  In 2006 we answered Gods call to found Vertical Life Ministries.  I served as Dean of Students part-time at SBC while developing Vertical Life. I earned my Masters Degree from Liberty University in 2009.  I am currently serving as the Executive Director of Elevate.  In 2009 Scott Alexander and I came together to make VLM's first camp a reality.  Through the hand of God elevate worldwide and Vertical Life merged in May of 2012 to form Elevate Camps.  Elevate is growing and our partnership has proven a powerful combination.
